    How we check

A story about the Quran has to be true to the Quran.

These rules apply to everything we publish.

    • Every story lists its sources.Surah and verse, or hadith collection, number and grading. No source, no story.
    • Sahih hadith only.Stories the Prophet ﷺ told come from Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, with their numbers.
    • Arabic from a verified text.Verse text is loaded from the Tanzil Quran text. It is never typed by hand.
    • Meanings, not translations. The English lines are our own short paraphrase. Read a full translation for the exact wording.
    • No depictions. No prophets, companions or people are drawn. Only sky, water, land and light.
    • Reviewed before release.Stories are checked before they go out, and anything we get wrong is corrected.

    Questions

    Is it free?

Yes. Every story is free to read, on the page and in the app. There are no ads.

Where do the stories come from?

From the Quran, and from sahih hadith in which the Prophet ﷺ told of people before us. Each story lists its sources, and the last card shows the verse or hadith it is built on.

Where does the Arabic come from?

From the Tanzil Quran text (tanzil.net), a verified digital Quran. We load it; we never type it.

Are the English lines a translation?

No. They are our own short paraphrase of the meaning, so a story can be read in a minute. For the exact wording, read the verse in a full translation.

    Are the stories checked?

Every story is built only from its sources, and stories are reviewed before they are released. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will correct it.

    Which languages?

    English now. Urdu is next.

    Is this a religious ruling?

No. The stories are for learning and reflection, not fatwas. For questions of practice or law, please ask a qualified scholar. See our terms.
